Photography has been part of my life for more than 30 years. What started as a hobby gradually became a passion, then a craft, and eventually a business. Throughout those years, I learned that photography isn't just about cameras and equipment—it's about preserving moments that can never be recreated.

For most of my career, I have worked as an educator. Teaching has given me a unique appreciation for milestones, growth, and achievement. It has also influenced the way I approach photography. Whether I'm photographing a high school senior preparing for the next chapter of life or an athlete competing under the Friday night lights, I understand that these moments matter. They represent years of hard work, dedication, and memories that families want to hold onto forever.

Three years ago, I turned a lifelong interest into a business by founding A.B. Price Photography LLC. My focus has centered on seniors & sports photography because those subjects combine everything I love about the craft: storytelling, emotion, energy, and human connection.

Sports photography, in particular, has become a significant part of my journey. I love the challenge of anticipating action and capturing the decisive moment—the game-winning goal, the perfectly timed catch, the intensity before a play begins, or the emotion that follows a hard-fought victory. Those moments happen in an instant, and I take pride in preserving them for athletes, parents, coaches, and communities.

That passion eventually led me to create Excelsior Eye Sports, a brand dedicated to showcasing local athletes and teams with professional-quality imagery. My goal has always been to give athletes the recognition they deserve and provide families with photographs that celebrate their accomplishments. Every game, tournament, and event presents another opportunity to tell a story through images.

One day I'll retire from teaching, photography is not something I view as a retirement hobby. It is a second career built around something I genuinely enjoy. It allows me to stay connected to my community, support local schools and athletes, and continue creating meaningful work.

At its core, my photography is about people. It is about capturing effort, achievement, joy, determination, and the moments that define a season, a year, or even a lifetime. Long after the final buzzer sounds or graduation day has passed, the photographs remain.

That's why I do what I do.

I don't just take pictures—I preserve moments, celebrate achievements, and tell stories that deserve to be remembered.
